Organiser Ken Galvin was happy with the weekend's turnout with hot rod and classic car clubs, including the Midwest and Huapai Hotrod clubs, bringing many of their prized possessions to the Kumeu showgrounds. Saturday was the biggest day thanks to the fine weather, with about 300 vehicles on show,'' he says. Other events like a wood chopping competition by the Auckland Axeman Club kept the crowds entertained.
