To mark the event local primary and inter- mediate schools are invited to enter a poster competition. Harold, the giraffe that features in the trust s logo, must be included in each colour- ful A3 poster, along with something the child has learned from the Life Education lessons. The organisation pro- vides positive health- based education mess- ages in schools with learning modules around self esteem, nutrition, body systems and substances. VisionWest can help VisionWest Community Trust will soon have new roadfront signs to better promote its services. The trust has been around for 20 years but residents may be un- aware of what it offers. The site covers 91 to 97 Glendale Rd, Glen Eden, and the main en- trance is at number 97. Services include com- munity housing, health- care, budgeting, coun- selling, a food and school uniform bank and an opportunity shop. Cracker of a fundraiser The Crackerjack Kids Champions Dinner is being held on March 3 and diners will meet sports personalities and high profile athletes, in a fundraiser to help instil important values in Auckland children.
