The free programme is partly funded by the Ministry of Health and encourages healthy eating and exercise in children under five and their families. The preschool has supported the programme for nine years and received its award during Heart Foundation appeal week, February 7-13. Good Scouts: The New Lynn Sea Scouts have proven they are just as comfortable on the land as on the water. Each year a camp is held at Motu Moana in Green Bay to celebrate the birthday Scouting founder Lord Baden Powell. The Scouts come together for camping, fun and competition.
