Racing will start at 11am and finish no later than 5pm. During these hours the provisions of Auckland Council Navigation Safety Bylaw Clauses 3.2 (a) and (b) the 5 knot rule are suspended with respect to competing Thundercat craft and any emergency vessels only. The reserved area will have patrol vessels stationed around the event area and all beach goers are advised to follow instructions given by course marshals.
